<p>1-       Ball Valves – Ball valves are fitted inside the passageway where the fluid flows out of the pipe. The most commonly used ball valves are the two-way valves. Some of the different types of ball valves are steel types, high pressure valves.</p>
<p>2-       Gate Valves – Gate valves helps in controlling the speed of the fluid. These kinds of valves are used when there is a minimum flow of fluid that is required.</p>
<p>3-       Swing Check Valves – Such types of valves are rarely used for industrial purposes as compared to the other types of valves mentioned. These kinds of valves are used to help prevent system loss. They help in keeping the pumps primed whenever the electric power goes off.</p>

The tools can be anything such as an adjustable wrench set, safety glasses, safety gloves etc.</p>
<p>1- Power Supply – Make sure that the main power supply of the industrial unit is being disconnected before the procedure for dissembling begins. <p>2- Remove ball valves from the pipe – Once the above procedure is complete; it is time for you to remove the ball valves from the connecting pipes. Make sure to remove it one by one. Once removed, put each of the parts on a flat surface area so that you will remember which part has to be connected back in the correct order.</p>
<p>3- Remove the ball valve entirely – Once the second procedure is complete, the next step is to remove and disassemble the ball valve completely from the valve unit. You must first begin to remove the hex jam nut that is lying on the top of the ball valve. In sequence wise, next will be to move the spring washer, move the control handle of the valve including the hex nuts by holding the end plate on the top of the ball valve assembly.</p>

<p>Valves are used by many leading industries, commercial sectors, residential sectors, military and even the transport sectors. These valves are also used in our homes, such as valves found in a tap of water to stop and start the flow of water or even valves can be found in our pressure cooker which releases the gas and stops the gas.</p>
<p>There are two ways in which a valve operates. It can be either manual or automatic. Manual operation is by the use of pedal, handle or lever. Automatic operation on the other hand is a bit more complex but since it is operated automatically without the need of human help, it is considered to be safe and long lasting. It is usually run with the help of an actuator. Some of the examples of automatic valves are motor, solenoid and pneumatic. Valves are mostly used in large industries such as oil and gas, water reticulation, mining, power generation and chemical manufacturing. It could be dangerous when any of the valves fail to function and even the results obtained can be different. Therefore, proper functioning of a valve is equally important when it comes to automatic operation.</p>
<p>We must remember that just like any other products that are used in any industry, no matter how strong, robust and well built the material can be, it requires maintenance. Similarly, valves too require regular maintenance in order to allow it to function smoothly and not cause any damage to the industry.</p>
